Mombasa Rattan Bowl Table

A mid-century-inspired occasional table that treats the tabletop as a shallow woven bowl. The Mombasa’s round top curves gently upward at the edges, formed from an open diamond lattice of split rattan strips that lets light pass straight through, with a whipped cane rim binding the whole perimeter. It rests on a slender tripod base of splayed black metal legs with rounded tips — a light, angular counterpoint to the warm organic weave above. Deep chestnut and honey tones give it real vintage character. Use it as a side table, a drinks table, or a decorative catch-all beside a sofa or armchair.
